Traffic diversions in Hyderabad announced for Golconda Bonalu celebrations from June 26 to July 24.

The following routes are expected to witness heavy traffic during the Bonalu festival:

• Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort via Makkai Darwaza

• Langar Houz to Golconda Fort via Fateh Darwaza

• Shaikpet Nala/Seven Tombs to Golconda Fort via Banjara Darwaza

Authorities have advised regular commuters to avoid these routes between 8 AM and 11 PM from June 26 to July 24 to prevent inconvenience during the festival period.

The following parking zones have been designated for devotees approaching Golconda Fort via Makkai Darwaza from Ramdevguda:

• 2-Wheelers: Ashoor Khana to Army Sentry Post

• 4-Wheelers: Artillery Centre, Ramdevguda and Ashoor Khana, Golconda

Commuters are also advised that Setwin buses will be permitted only up to the Ashoor Khana parking area.

Parking Arrangements for Golconda Bonalu 2025

To accommodate the large number of devotees, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has set up dedicated parking zones along major routes leading to Golconda Fort:

From Langar Houz via Fateh Darwaza:

• 2-Wheelers: MCH Park (Fateh Darwaza), Golconda Bus Stop, Alhira School

• 4-Wheelers: Area Hospital, Golconda

From Shaikpet via Banjara Darwaza:

• 2-Wheelers: By-lane on Golf Club Road

• 4-Wheelers: Hockey Ground, Owaisi Ground, Deccan Park (Seven Tombs)

Devotees are kindly requested to park only in the designated areas and proceed on foot to the Fort to ensure smooth movement and avoid congestion.

To manage the anticipated crowd surge, the Hyderabad Police will be actively stationed across key zones.
