HITEC City
Hyderabad's original technology district — HITEC stands for Hyderabad Information Technology and Engineering Consultancy. It was inaugurated in November 1998 with Cyber Towers as its first building, and grew within Madhapur into the office towers, malls and restaurants of the city's western corridor.
