K. Shashanka is a 2013-batch IAS officer of the Telangana cadre and the first Commissioner of the Future City Development Authority, appointed in April 2025.
Before that he served as Commissioner of State Flagship Projects from October 2024, leading a new department overseeing major infrastructure initiatives — the proposed Future City, the Regional Ring Road and tourism circuits around Hyderabad.
